Patch Test

Patch Test

Effective Date: June 2025

At LIT Lashes, your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. All adhesive-based products, including our Bond, Sealant, and Remover, require a mandatory patch test before use to reduce the risk of irritation or allergic reactions.

By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge that performing a patch test is your responsibility and that LIT Lashes is not liable for adverse reactions if a patch test has not been conducted.

Why a Patch Test Is Important

Cosmetic adhesives and removers contain active ingredients that may cause sensitivity or allergies in some individuals. A patch test helps you check your skin's reaction before applying products near your eyes.

How to Perform a Patch Test

  1. Choose a Discreet Area:
Apply a small amount of the product behind your ear or on the inside of your wrist.

  2. Leave for 24 Hours:
Do not wash off the product during this period.

  3. Monitor for Reactions:
Watch for any redness, itching, swelling, or irritation.

  4. If Reaction Occurs:
Do not use the product and, if necessary, consult a medical professional.

Important Notes

  • A negative patch test does not guarantee you will not experience a reaction during future use, as sensitivities may develop over time.

  • Always follow the instructions for application and removal provided with your LIT Lashes products.

  • Avoid using products on broken or irritated skin.
