Getting Started with LIT LASHES

Getting Started with Your DIY Underlash Clusters

Welcome to effortless, salon-quality lashes at home! This step-by-step guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get started with individual lash clusters applied underneath your natural lashes.

What’s in Your Starter Pack

  • Lash clusters (in varying lengths)
  • 1x Bond (lash glue)
  • 1x Sealant
  • 1x Lash remover
  • 1x Tweezers
  • 1x Black lash wand

Before You Begin

  • Wash your face and make sure your lashes are clean and oil-free. Use oil-free cleanser or micellar water.
  • No mascara! Clusters go on bare lashes.
  • Have a mirror placed below face level to look down into for better visibility.
  • Work in a well-lit area.

APPLICATION STEPS

1. Bond

  • Using the applicator, lightly brush the BOND onto the underside of your natural lashes near the base — not the waterline, and not your skin. A little goes a long way.

2. Apply Clusters

  • Use tweezers to gently pick up a lash cluster.
  • Start from the outer corner of your eye and work inwards.
  • Apply the cluster underneath your natural lashes, about 1mm from the lash line (not touching skin).
  • Press cluster gently upward to attach.

💡 Pro Tip: Rest the cluster on the bond area, then “hug” it into place using tweezers or your fingers. Don't use too much glue, then this will be messy.

3. Fuse & Squeeze

  • Once all clusters are placed, squeeze your natural lashes and the clusters together with tweezers or fingers for about 5 seconds per section. This locks them in. If you have used a lot of glue, it's better to use your fingers for this step.

4. Seal

  • Apply a tiny amount of sealer to the base of the clusters. This removes tackiness and extends wear.

Avoid For 24 Hours:

  • Don’t get your lashes wet.
  • Avoid steam, heavy sweating, or oil-based skincare near eyes.

REMOVAL (When You’re Ready)

  1. Apply the REMOVER directly to the base of your lashes using the applicator.
  2. Let it sit for 30–60 seconds, then gently massage the remover into the lashes.
  3. Use your fingers or tweezers to slide clusters off gently.
  4. Wash your eyes with water and pat dry.
  5. Clean your natural lashes with oil-free cleanser.

❗️Never pull on the lashes. If they resist, apply more remover and wait.

Reuse & Clean

  • With gentle removal and cleaning, clusters can be reused 2–4 times, if you wish.
  • Clean them with micellar water and store dry.

Tips for First-Timers

  • Don't apply lashes for the first time if you are running late for a big night out.  It might look easy on instagram, but the first 2-3 times requires a bit of trial and failure for most of us! It's not uncommon to spend 20-30 minutes getting a good result the first time you do this.

  • Start with shorter clusters until you master the technique.

  • Use a magnifying mirror angled below you — it’s easier to apply when looking down.

  • Practice on one eye first before committing to both

  • If lashes pop off during the day, reapply a tiny dot of bond and press again.
